Sulphuric Acid (or Sulfuric Acid) can also be known as Battery Acid or Oil of Vitriol. The chemical formula is H2SO4. It contains two hydrogen atoms, one sulfur atom and four oxygen atoms. It is a colorless, odorless liquid that is a good conductor of electricity. It freezes at 10.3˚C and boils at 338˚C. Sulphuric Acid is very soluble in water, quite oily to the touch and has a low density of approximately 1.90 g/cm3.
